This was my first time using Fishingbooker.com as well as chartering a fishing boat while in Mexico. Both experiences were as positive as one could hope for! Captain Freddy was always very prompt in responding to my multitude of questions and always made me feel at ease while organizing our day of fishing. Upon arriving at the boat, everything was very clean and organized, the rods and bait were ready to go, and so was the crew. First things first, people need to understand the its called fishing, not shopping. That means that even if every honest effort is put in, you still may not have luck on your side. After all, any day fishing beats a good day at work! We spent most of the day trolling and managed to land a beautiful Sailfish. We also caught some Snapper while reef fishing on our way to go snorkeling and each lunch. The crew had prepared fresh fruit, sandwiches, guacamole and salsa during the trip, everything was delicious! They also ensured we always had drinks in our hands for the entire day. Part of our full day trip was that we wanted to go snorkeling. Captain Freddy took us to a beautiful spot where we saw Turtles, Stingrays and a multitude of colorful fish. A member of the crew joined us in the water to keep an eye on us and show us highlights of the reef while the rest of the crew prepared lunch. We brought our own snorkeling equipment, however, the boat did have nice snorkeling equipment for us to use if we needed it.

Overall, the days experience was better than we could have hoped for! (No matter how many fish you catch, you always want more!) Captain Freddy and his entire crew were extremely professional and accommodating in every regard. As an avid outdoorsman and fisherman back home in Alberta, I could never find enough time to ask all the questions I had but the ones I did ask were happily answered every time by Captain Freddy and his crew. I highly recommend Knotty Hooker Charters. I will definitely be using them again!!!

We were in Mexico for our honeymoon and went out on the Reel Hooker. It was a fantastic experience from end to end. The boat itself was great and lends well to fishing as well as relaxing. The interior is great for getting out of the sun and taking a nap (my wife enjoyed this). The fishing was amazing and we did quite well. Freddy and his crew were a ton of fun and not only helped us catch fish but were very informative as well. We ended up catching a couple of barracudas that we released and caught 2 wahoo that we were able to keep and take home / eat that night for dinner. Overall it was a great trip, fun crew, very comfortable boat, and a solid overall experience.

The crew was great, boat was great and the equipment was good. The crew did an excellent job getting us on fish and keeping us on them. We caught several Mahi Mahi, a Black Fin Tuna and my wife caught a sailfish. We would definitely book again with this boat and crew.

Had a great day fishing with Captain Eguardo and crew. The Reel Hooker is an awesome boat and the crew worked their butts off putting us in some fish.  After bringing in a sailfish and a white marlin, we were hoping to score a grand slam, but we never could get that Blue Marlin…

All in all, a wonderful day on the water. I would highly recommend Captain Freddy’s Knotty Hooker outfit for anyone looking for great fishing!!!
