Fishing for 4 hours and no fish. I know you can’t make them bite but after the first few hours maybe hit the bottom and try for literally anything else. Manny was a cool guy though and that made a big difference when helping us out.

So, from the beginning, I had to reach out to the captain to find out how to get there. He said it would be about 200 pesos. It was 425 to drive literally 5 min. I know that isnt his fault, but he could have directed us in such a way to know how to get it at that price. So it cost us $25 to drive literally 5 min. Then to get on the boat he walked us to the 2 men who would take us on the trip. They were not very talkative and didn’t wanna visit at all. We trolled for 4 hours and caught 1 small mahi. That isn’t their fault, but we could have been offered to go catch some bait and bottom fish or do some other kind of fishing. It was long and boring, and no other type of fishing was even offered to try anything else. They dropped us at our resort in the end, where they said we must pay the rest In cash, which I was not expecting and that caught me off guard. Luckily we had enough we brought with us but I assumed like online it said we could pay with our card which we had used to reserve the trip. Also beware if you would like to enjoy eating your catch, slim chance your resort will cook the fish for you. Manny told us to just take it back to resort to have them cook it. Our resort told us that with regulations of food handling and risk whatever their rule was, they would not cook it. I assume most other resorts would be the same. We had to throw our fish out. Which was very disappointing. All of them were nice of course, but overall we personally didn’t have a great experience.

Terrible communication after booking trip. Contact was not where he said to meet, demanded cash for final payment and seemed like we were being hustled.
When we finally got to boat, captain and mate were very good -we trolled umbrellas with ballyhoo then my neice got seasick and we had to come back in.
