Incredible day on the water. Communication with the Captain was so easy and he always replied promptly. We arranged for pick-up at our hotel for a small extra fee. Well worth it as it’s by Gamboa. I caught the Peacock bass of my dreams from my target species list.  The Captain was very patient with our group and explained exactly what to do. I swear he could see the fish in water and knows exactly how they feed and chase. We also landed a Jack and got to see toucans, monkeys and crocodiles!

We had to reschedule with Rene due to personal issues ad Rene agreed to take us out later in the day. We arrived late and he patiently waited for us and then to us out as scheduled. Once on the water he gave us the lay of the lad and took us to feed the monkeys. Shortly after, he put us on some peacock bass and our trip concluded. This guide was professional and very knowledgeable. We only fished with him for three hours, but we had a blast and would definitely go again if in the region.

Had a day to burn while in Panama City and was an easy trip to take. Captain picked me up and dropped me off at the hotel and within an hour we were at the boat. The scenery and history of the Panama Canal made this Peacock bass mission that much more memorable. We caught plenty of small ones but I was targeting a giant.
