- Our amazing Captain has been fishing on lakes and rivers since before he could walk. Fishing has been a passion of his for a long time. After many years of fishing all around the world, the Captain moved to Wanaka in 2004 and began operating on the lake not long after. After a number of years and many satisfied clients of all ages, and from all corners of the world, that passion is still there. We offer spinning or trolling, exploring the islands, the bush and beaches - winter, spring, summer or autumn - Lake Wanaka is a magic part of the country to explore and enjoy.
