Everything from start to finish was an absolute dream. Nicholas was so accommodating and kind from the very beginning. And his crew was sooooo great. So helpful. And they made are trip so fun. We were able to catch 3 Mahi Mahi from the first few moments on board and that was so cool! They made us fresh ceviche on board that was delicious, then we took our catch(s) and brought it to a local restaurant to cook. We went swimming in the pacific off the boat at about 185 feet (by choice), they had great music. It was just a wonderful day.

From start to finish and top to bottom there’s nothing these guys could have done to make this trip any better. Everything was top notch. The knowledge that the captain and mate had about the fish and the waters they hunted was paralleled only by the sandwiches Nick’s mom Amy made for lunch FISH Man did we catch fish while we didn’t get the Elusive rooster fish and believe me they did everything under the sun to make that happen it just wasn’t in the cards but we caught Jack, Grouper, and lots of other fish. Just a GREAT day

Started off bottom fishing and had fish in the boat within minutes. After about an hour we had 10+ fish including a few good sized conger eels. We caught so many fish my should was to tired to continue so we tried trolling for a bit. We had no luck trolling. Next time I would just suck it up and fight through the pain. The conger eel and grouper were very fun to catch.

I reached out to Fishing CR with one goal in mind. To get a chance at a trophy billfish. Nicholas was quite confident with a whole day booked his crew could make it happen. While heading out to the distant offshore waters we caught a few small Mahi and tuna in which the crew filleted up for us a nice fresh ceviche which was delicious! At 10:30 am we hooked into a beautiful sailfish while trolling. The crew was very helpful during the fight. Finally I got him in and was beyond excited I was able to get a quick picture before quickly releasing him. My goal had been accomplished! After that we tried for another and had a few smaller fish bite. To add to this experience some very playful dolphins began to follow us around putting on a show for my wife and I. This made for a perfect day for us, I got my fish and my wife got to see her dolphins. I could not be more pleased with the experience and would do it all again tomorrow if I could. Some other additions to the day were delicious sandwiches and fresh fruits provided, along with a wide variety of drinks. Thank you so much Nicholas for providing this experience.
