Captain Marcos and his crew are amazing! Incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. My wife and I booked a morning trip for tarpon and snook. The weather in the days leading up to the trip and on the morning of the trip was quite windy but Captain Marcos knew exactly how to adjust the trip and location. We did not land any tarpon but did catch several snapper and other species, including a nurse shark! Captain Marcos cleaned and fileted a snapper for us and recommended a local restaurant, which graciously cooked our catch for lunch. We were also able to fly fish for barracuda towards the end of the morning! We had great conversations throughout the trip and it was fascinating to listen to Captain Marcos pass on his marine biology expertise. This certainly was a highlight of our trip to Puerto Rico and we will absolutely be booking another trip when we return with our kids! I cannot recommend Captain Marcos enough.

We had an amazing time. We caught around 8 different types of fish. They gave us a tour of the island as we went around. It was a gorgeous day. We caught many tarpon in multiple locations. I even caught the last tarpon on a fly rod. We also caught a giant mutton snapper. They were great with our 15 years old. 787 fishing is an excellent choice.

My 16 year old son and I had a great time with captain Marco and Roberto. They took care of everything and made sure we had a great time. Captain Marcos knew where to go to find the fish and gave great instructions to help us. My son caught his first tarpon along with a jack, a bunch of blue runners and two snappers which we ate for lunch at a restaurant they recommended. They were delicious. They also had a very cool surprise at the end of the trip. I would fish with them again if I come back to this area. Thank you!

We booked a trip last minute on a day that promised rain but that didn’t stop the captain from showing us a great time on the water. We have made Puerto Rico an annual destination and now we have added to things that have to happen while in country. Captain Marcos is the best and his little surprise at the end of the trip is top shelf. I have fished all over the world with many different guides and charters and he ranks at the top. When I booked the fishing trip, I told them that I wanted to catch a Tarpon. I’ve caught other large fish, but never a Tarpon.. We fished two different areas and caught three different species of smaller fish that Captain Marcos cleaned for me to take home. Towards the end of the trip we tried one last spot and wouldn’t you know that’s where I hooked into about a 50lb Tarpon…. they fight like no other fish. 1st mate Carlos was busy taking pictures of the Tarpon fight so I could have proof of my catch. He was really great at keeping things moving. I walked away from that trip with the biggest smile on my face thinking this was the best day ever… I’m absolutely positive that I couldn’t have gotten it to the boat without the coaching and help from Captain Marcos because Tarpon are really smart fish…. I highly recommend!!
