Based out of Fajardo, 787 Fishing Trips is your ticket to the Caribbean blue waters of Puerto Rico.
Their experienced crew is here to get you on some fish and to make sure you have a good time in the great outdoors. You'll be using techniques like bottom fishing, trolling, fly fishing, drift fishing, jigging, popping, and spinning, depending on what you're going after. As part of their 2 to 4-hour trips, you can target species like Mahi Mahi, Marlin, Wahoo, Tuna, King Mackerel, and Barracuda, depending on the current season, type of trip, and weather conditions.
Your boat for the day will be a 26' Twin Vee that fits up to 4 anglers at any one time. The boat comes with an ice box. The price of your trip includes all the rods, reels, and terminal tackle you'll need for a productive day on the water, and your captain will supply all the needed fishing licenses for your trip.
You can keep anything you catch as long as it's within the local regulations. The crew aims to promote sustainable fishing activities and focus on environmentally-friendly practices while meeting the expectations of all levels of anglers.
Here to help you with anything you need, the first mate will be on hand during the trip. Leaving a tip for a job well done is much appreciated. There will be complimentary drinks aboard for your convenience during the trip, but feel free to bring your own drinks and snacks if you'd like to.
This is a children-friendly charter, so you're welcome to bring your kids on for a fun fishing adventure.

Tarpon and Snappers – High Season on March 19, 2026 • 3 adults
Captain Marcos had us on snapper and other fun fish within minutes! Caught a bonefish and tried for tarpon but not as much luck with that, but had a great time, good conversation and great recommendations for other must see and do spots in Puerto Rico! Fileted our catch before leaving the dock and sent us to El Bohio where they grilled and fried the snapper, Delicious!!' Thak you so much for a great morning despite somewhat challenging conditions!

This was hands-down the best activity we booked in Puerto Rico. Captain Marcos was fantastic from start to finish, and the customer service was truly exemplary. He is especially amazing with kids and took great effort to make our 10 year old feel comfortable.
We booked a 2-hour fishing trip with our 10- and 14-year-old sons, and Captain Marcos, along with his mate who assisted us throughout the trip, made the entire experience fun, engaging, and completely stress-free. His mate was incredibly attentive, helping manage the lines, keeping bait on the hooks, and making sure the kids were set up for success at all times.
They both took the time to teach us how to fish specifically for the waters we were in, which made the experience feel authentic and educational. Captain Marcos even added some friendly brotherly competitions, making the trip extra memorable and fun for our boys.
We were amazed by how much we caught, five different types of fish, far beyond our expectations, including sharks! At the end of the trip, Captain Marcos cleaned our fish and shared a taco recipe that we're excited to make later today, a thoughtful and personal touch that really set this experience apart.
This charter was professional, family-friendly, exciting, and perfectly run. If you're considering a fishing trip in Puerto Rico, do not hesitate, you won't be disappointed. This experience really was perfect, and I highly recommend 787 Fishing Trip to anyone visiting the area.

The trip was both like a visit with family and an amazing and educational fishing experience. Marcos and his team are brillant and kind and help you get the bites you want. This trip made our trip and made us want to never leave PR. You will not regret a moment of time with tgis treasured crew, this is what life is abour- good connections with good people, fun, fishing, learning how to read and care for the fishery, learning about history and marine science, taking in the beauty of this magical place. 1,000,000/10 stars. We will call them every time.

Three of us were on his boat. We got history of the area and caught five different species of fish while being coached on the proper fishing techniques for the area. The views are spectacular! Book this trip don't hesitate! We shared where we were from and will make sure we send him photos of our catches by following his instruction once we head home and fish there! Thanks to Captain Marcos and First Mate Victor. ….if you feel you reel…🤙🏼

We booked our charter through Fishing Booker and had the absolute Best experience of of our lives in Fajardo,PR. From the moment we met our captain we knew we were in great hands! Captain Marcos made sure to go over the rules of the boat and make sure to show us where the life vests and everything else was, but he also made us feel so welcome…almost like family. He was so extremely knowledgeable (because yes, he's a marine biologist….no lie) he is extremely passionate. Despite his scientific background he's' also a true fisherman and at the beginning asked us what kind of fish we were going for. He took the time to talk with us about the different fish species, the impact of different weather conditions, etc…he's extremely knowledgeable! You can just tell he honestly cares about the environment, fishing and about his customers. This is extremely rare! We will absolutely come back and fish with him every time….and we come at least twice a year! Most amazing captain ever!
