- Background
- I spent many years fishing recreationally here in Puget Sound before deciding to start Ruby D Charters. Prior to that, I spent a couple of seasons in Alaska chartering to up my game. Here in the Seattle area, it's mostly about going after Salmon, Kings (Chinook), Silvers (Coho) and Pinks (Humpies) as well as Lingcod. My favorite part of the job is seeing customers land their fish, even when fun-fishing with friends I have more fun watching them land their fish then bringing my own in.
- Techniques
- We troll for Salmon and drift fish for Lingcod. These methods produce the best catches.
