Our party of four had a great morning fishing with Captain Andrew, and his first mate Robert. Captain Andrew put us on fish, and he was able to keep us out of the rough water. Our goal was to catch fish to eat, and we were able to catch a limit of eater snapper, as well as catch and release of other species. We also enjoyed his playlist for the trip.

Captain Drew is one of the best captains I have ever gone fishing with. The conditions were tough and he knew all the moves. We found bait when no one else could. We found fish in water that looked like a chocolate milkshake, and he found a way to keep us protected from winds. Do not hesitate to book Local Grown Charters. We will definitely be back.

Captain Andrew was great. The communication was great. We booked a 6 hour trip for four people. The weather was not cooperating(windy and cold), but he and his deckhand Jake kept us on the move to get us on the fish!  Between the four of us we caught well over 30 fish, including two nice snook. Captain Andrew would point out any wildlife and was very knowledgeable about the area. I will definitely hit him up the next time we are down in Key Largo and I would recommend anyone else to do the same.

Our goal was to get my 13 year old catching fish and Capt. Andrew made sure that happened.  He also helped retrieve our son’s hat after it blew off his head, which was great.  We had a ton of fun, caught a number of spotted sea trout, a jack, a baby blacktip shark.  We got good photos and videos - it was a good time.

We arrived and Andrew was ready to go. He communicated the week and the day before about what the plan was.  We caught fish right away.  He explained what to do.  He was just awesome!! Super funny, friendly and we definitely have found our guide that we will always use when we come back.  He will also be our referral to friends and family.
