Had a great time! It was beautiful out on the water and our captain even filleted our fish at the end.

Captain Ponchito worked really hard for us and we caught fish.  Unfortunately, the boat we went out on wasn’t what was described on the site, being much smaller with electrical issues (smoking exposed wires that shut down the boat at times) and no first mate, (probably for the best seeing how small the boat was).  We could only fish 2 at a time, which wasn’t a deal breaker, but again not as described.  We booked a full day (8 hours), but we were back at the dock in just shy of 7 hours.  The worst part was all four of us got food poisoning from the lunch provided, which hit later that eve and negatively impacted the rest of our vacation. (others in our group did not go fishing and didn’t have this problem).  Maybe ours is a one-off experience.  Capt Ponchito was solid and we did catch fish, but there is more to it than just catching fish.

Fernando is a Fun captain that goes above & beyond the skills it takes to go for any species of fish. Very much Appreciated. Was able to land my 1st Marlin and Mahi Mahi…The Filleting of fish was excellent. What a great time..
