1. Captain was reluctant to provide life jacket which we never encountered such service before.
2. Captain high promise but low delivery. I told captain to have back up plan if cannot catch any fish. He didn’t follow.
3. Captain totalled ignored customer’s needs. I told captain my child was autistic but he totally forgot it on the day. He didn’t give my special need child any assistance when she got a heavy fish and let it run away. Other captains we hire boat before would use a big net help to get my child’s fish to the boat but this captain just did nothing which led our trip with 0 fish back.
4. Captain misled my autistic child that she doesn’t need to put on life jacket. He told clearly to people that above 12 year old no need to put on life jacket. It was my child’s first time fishing on boat without life jacket especially big swells 30-40km wind.
I was sick on the day. I hire people to assist my child with fishing trip. People gave me feedback and photos and videos as evidence. I was furious. I never want my child risking her life to do a leisure activity like this.

It took me extra one hour at home later to educate my child’s water safety knowledge. She simply trusts captain she met.

It was a shocking fishing trip. We hired boat in AU and overseas many times. It has been the first time and only time I give low rating feedback.
