It was a very nice experience having that fishing trip with Captain Josh. We have booked it from Germany for our holidays in Alaska. Josh is a very professional and kind captain who knows the right fishing spots. So we catched several halibut, rockfish, cod and also a king salmon. So all in all an exceptional experience and a perfect day. Highly recommended.

Josh knew everything about the area. He knew the good places to go and not to go based on water conditions. We caught as many fish as allowed for the day and my husband even caught 120 lb halibut!!! We got a few rockfish and cod as well. The icing on the cake was being able to see whales on the way out! 10/10 recommend using Big Butts Charter!

We were thoroughly pleased with our trip.  Captain Josh was so helpful leading up to our charter with clear communication, instructions, expectations, great details.  The Early Riser boat is spacious and comfortable. We found several great fishing spots and had a great time.  I’ve been with other charters, this was the best!

We had a great trip thanks to our Captain Jordan and his crew Sienna. The boat we were on was the perfect and size and thanks to their expertise we were able to have a great time and got some great fish! Highly recommend and will always come back to them for any future trips up here!

We were cancelled for high winds 2 days prior but we rebooked for salmon and rockfish since Wednesdays you can’t keep halibut. It turned out to be the best blessing in disguise! The weather was perfect and we caught our limit of king salmon (and BIG ones) within an hour and limited out on rockfish for the boat.
