Big Butt Charters – Booty Call
There's a fish with your name on it in Homer and Captains Justin, Jordan & Chuck will help you catch it! Your Captain for the day, Chuck, allows you to benefit from years of angling experience.
Halibut, Chinook Salmon, Black Rockfish, Rockfish, Lingcod, Cod, and more could be biting if conditions are right. Depending on the species you’re after, you may find yourself light tackle fishing, trolling, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
Your adventure begins aboard M/V Booty Call, a 32' Raider sportfishing vessel that can carry up to 6 passengers. It comes with downriggers, all the essentials. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Rods, reels, and tackle are ready for you.
You will need to get a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species might be protected or require a tag to keep them, so make sure you know what to expect.
Some essentials to bring are sunblock (non-spray), a hat, bottled water, and sunglasses. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

Captain Chuck did a great job getting us on fish. We changed plans at the dock based on his suggestion and it worked out great. He made the day enjoyable and educated us on how to fish for Halibut. He also worked hard to make sure everyone caught fish. The entire boat limited out on Rock fish and Halibut. We even had one that was over 80 Lb. The boat was in great shape. I would highly recomend Big Butt charters and Booty Call.
Captain Chuck did an amazing job at putting us in the halibut honey pot right off the bat! He worked efficiently at getting the fish in the boat while keeping the lines baited. We were even lucky enough to catch a few king salmon despite the population being down. I would definitely recommend this charter!
Great fishing and very nice boat. We had a great time and Chuck put us on the fish immediately.
Capt. Chuck and mate Mattie on the “Booty Call” did an excellent job putting us on the bite! The conditions in the morning were pretty snotty, but he got us to the fishing grounds safely and without concern. Capt. Chuck’s experience immediately put us on great fishing. Mattie was great! She was always right there to lend a hand, bait a hook, or gaff a halibut. All five fisherman onboard caught their one allotted halibut (34”, 38”, 44”, 47”, and 55.5”). We also limited out on rock fish too. We had an excellence experience with Big Butt Charters and we would highly recommend them!
What a great time! Captain Jordan was awesome, and it was like fishing with your best friend! Jordan took us to all the hot spots to make the best use of our multi-species fishing trip. He turned us on to all the fish! He gets more than a 10/10! We would definitely recommend Captain Jordan, and Big Butt Charters, to anyone wanting to catch fish and have an amazing experience on the water!! Also, he recommended we take a couple fillets down to Hook & Cook on the Spit, so they could cook 'em up for us right after we got back. It was the freshest fish we had ever eaten!
