There were simply too many dolphins around for the fishing to be decent but everyone enjoyed being out on the water anyway. We spent too long at the first drop before deciding to move due to lack of bites. Caught only small bottom fish the rest of the day. The highlight was definitely the dolphins around us.

Pedro and Tiago took me and 2 friends out for the day off Sesimbra on June 20th, 2018 in search of as many species of fish as possible.  They were knowledgeable, fun to be with (great sense of humor), and helped me catch 7 species of fish (Atlantic horse mackerel, cuckoo wrasse, comber, small red scorpionfish, conger eel, swallowtail seaperch, and pouting), 6 of which were new.  As a result, my lifetime species list now stands at 230; a good day.  They taught both of my friends, who were new to fishing, how to use the rod and reel and what to feel for, enabling them to catch a number of fish too.  They also offer trips for bigger fish that may take more patience, but with my desire to catch numerous species and with my beginner friends, they tailored the trip to our needs.  Whether you’re an experienced angler or a novice, I would highly recommend a trip with Pedro and Tiago (who also picked us up from our hotel in Lisbon for a reasonable fee).  They also took us for a beer after the trip which was very much appreciated after a day on the water in the sun.  Obrigado Pedro and Tiago
