Born and raised in Deale Maryland, Capt. Billy grew up fishing the middle bay with his grandfather. When he was old enough to make fishing from a hobby into a career, he started working for local charter boats. Billy became a full-time mate when his dad bought his first charter boat and started Ebb Tide Charters. In 1999 he got his captain’s license and in 2014 purchased his own 40' charter boat. He also has an Unlimited Tidal Fishing license from the Maryland Dept. of Natural Resources.
