Was picked up from Hotel and taken to Coin De Mere and boarded the boat for a half day trip, and luckily i was the only guest so had all rods to myself. Being winter time there was a swell, so was warded to take see sick tablets before hand which definitely helped me. The crew were always on the look out for signs and trying different lures and eventually we hit into a shoal of SkipJack Tuna and had 2 on the go at once, so was fast and furious then a break for an hour then fast and furious again.... Had two wonderful days with the crew of Lady Diana. Although the fish didn’t cooperate and our dream to catch a black or blue Marlin was not fulfilled, the crew did their best to get us at least some fish. This beauty of a Mahi Mahi and a nice Wahoo on the second day, along with some small fish jigging were a good compensation and along with the nice crew and the superb communication with Cpt. I have fished in many parts of Australia for many different types of fishing, and today was one of my best experiences. The crew was first class, and we managed to land yellow fin tuna and wahoo. I recommend anyone travelling to Mauritius to get in touch and book a charter.

We had a fantastic day out in July (winter!), catching 46 skip jacks, 4 yellow fin, and seeing whales up close. Adil, captain and deck hand Michael were all very professional, and good people. I would highly recommend.
