Built in Mauritius for the seasoned angler, Lady Diana is a 40’ vessel powered by twin 130hp engines, with maximum speeds of 24 knots. The boat can comfortably accommodate up to 10 passengers and has access to fresh water; there are standard marine toilets on board, as well as a seating area inside outfitted with a dining table, with all the cutlery and standard kitchen utensils provided by the crew. The boat’s flybridge provides an unobstructed view of the nearby islands, with frequent dolphin, whale and turtle sightings as well.
A compact galley lies adjacent to the inner area, and is used to prepare meals, wash dishes etc. There are also cooling facilities on board as well, such as icebox and ice chest. Lady Diana has a VHF radio, binoculars and life jackets on board.
For fishing, the crew uses Penn International and Tiagra rods, matched with Penn Reels (50, 80 and 130lbs, respectively). There are 8-9 rods and reels on board, specifically for big game fishing. The deck has 3 fighting chairs - 2 auxiliary chairs and the main one. There’s a variety of lures utilized, mainly for targeting big game pelagics such as Billfish, Mahi, Wahoo and Tuna. Of course, if you never go anywhere without your lucky rod, you’re welcome to bring it on board.
Lady Diana is operated by Captain Adil Toorabally, with over 13 years of fishing experience. Captain Toorabally’s record for Marlin aboard Lady Diana is 517kg, Tuna 156kg, Wahoo 47kg and Dorado 23kg. The team is happy to share the years of experience fishing these waters and customize your journey to your specific wishes.
