The experience was fun. The crew was patient with us but in our 4 hours the fish were not biting like we had hopes of. If only we could have a stacked deck of fish to catch. Dinner that night was an excellent King Mackerel grill out, skipper Chris gave us a great cooking idea using Italian dressing. Our photos did not include our fish, sorry!

We booked what was said to be “Mostly trolling. Though we can bottom fish on these trips, it’s very hard to get to the better fishing grounds.” but ended up only trolling on the way out and back and most of the fishing was bottom fishing. We really lucked out though and even with high speed trolling on the way back we ended up catching three king mackerel which really saved the trip.

Booking was easy through fishingbooker, they contacted the captain and arranged the day that worked for us both. I sent an email to the captain several days before the trip and never got a reply back and ended up calling and talking to his wife (I believe) the day before we left to get the details. Captain said hello when he got to the boat… went up and sat in the seat and never said another word until we got back and that was just to take my payment… not sure if he had a rough night the night before or just was in a bad mood. The mate was great though and very personable.

Just do to lack of communication I would not go on this charter again. I did rate it a 4 instead of a 3 because we did get lucky and catch the 3 Mackerels on the drive back.. If it hadn’t been for that I would have been extremely disappointed.

It was a great experience, we had a lot of fun!

This was my first time booking a private charter and No Alibi will be the only I’ll fish on off shore! The captain and crew were outstanding and extremely helpful!
This captain knows how to catch fish! I was ipmressed and took a lot of fish with me, home. I would highly recommend this boat to anyone. It’s a done deal! Perfect boat for deep sea fishing.

The deck hand was great .  The captain was matter of fact.  The exhaust leak was horrible.  We all ended up not feeling well after we were off the boat.
