Looking back at our departure time over an hour and a half after the fleet left, we set out to work the lake according to marine forecast! Calling for some wind we set up on a going with the wave troll . What we found was some cold waters generated by east wind, but that didn’t stop salmon from tearing up our tackle! Nets busted, some wild runs, as predicted waves made land fish challenging. All in all the pictures tell the catch story! This family was a blast and I thank the boys and rookie banker (Patrick “Derek Jeter”) even though the salmon brought in a relief pitcher to shut him down haha ! Thanks to all looking for to our next adventure aboard the “STALKER “ Capt Kurt

Ron and his family loaded up ( slightly reserved based on a previous experience ) and I’m sure my safety equipment rundown probably had them second guessing the trip haha. Anyway we Arrived on our honey hole and a slowish start began to gain momentum! After some missed hits on riggers the learning curve required to angle these bruisers took a right turn and this crew was all over the opportunity presented! Although we lost a bunch we had a great time rocking with some oldies radio while filling the cooler. Our day concluded on a fierce flurry and another 200 qt catch to heavy to move ! Thanks again to Ron Adam mike and Brenda for a great day enjoying life’s simple things with us!
