Looking back at our departure time over an hour and a half after the fleet left, we set out to work the lake according to marine forecast! Calling for some wind we set up on a going with the wave troll . What we found was some cold waters generated by east wind, but that didn’t stop salmon from tearing up our tackle! Nets busted, some wild runs, as predicted waves made land fish challenging. All in all the pictures tell the catch story! This family was a blast and I thank the boys and rookie banker (Patrick “Derek Jeter”) even though the salmon brought in a relief pitcher to shut him down haha !
