I’m a frequent visitor to the area but this was my hunter-fisherman husband’s first time. He asked our amazing guide, “China” to put us on big fish. We went out on the 0600 launch and I got to catch the “smaller” reds to filet & take home. He then took us out and Wowsa - we were definitely on BIG fish! It was tough fishing conditions, but we managed to catch about 20 fish of 5 different species. Captain Chad is a great guy to spend time with on the water. He has been fishing in that area for many years, so he is very knowledgable about the fishery. We had one person on our trip that has only been fishing once since the 70’s as a young girl, and he even managed to help her catch a redfish :-)

Me, my sister and her boyfriend had so much fun. We caught fish and had a great time together. Our captain Chad made it so much better because he was so nice and friendly. He was a great captain. 10/10 experience.

My brothers and I went on our first trip with Big Dog Fishing Charter and Steve was our guide. My brothers and I had an awesome day. We caught red fish, catfish and a drum fish. It was however a tougher day for fishing because the fish weren’t as aggressive, but Steve did all he could do to put us in the best position to catch fish. He was a great guide , very knowledgeable, helpful and just a good guy. I would highly recommend him to anyone. We will most definitely be back for another trip.

Sorry, I’m so bad at remembering names. I’m pretty sure it was captain Chad. He was awesome. We had a bad day out on the water - but it was nobody’s fault. Weather did us poorly, but I could tell he was trying hard to get us on whatever he could. He took us to every spot possible, and we managed a single red.
