We had a great time and caught 5 Mahi, 2 Yellow Fin, and a Black Fin. Talk to Maria at the cafe at the marina in order to get your fish back to the states and MAKE SURE to get a receipt for fish packaging to avoid airport security questioning your carry on if you bring meat back. Note- we were not picked up from the marina itself (we got on and off the boat from a rocky shore). He has his own way of doing things.

Elier (captain) and his deckhand Anthony showed us a great time. I am an experienced angler that has no problem fishing for hours on end. These guys are experienced and they proved themselves as avid guides. They had us on on fish (Sailfish and Marlin) almost right away and when the action did get slow they worked their tails off to put us back on. They were friendly and cordial, and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

We had a great time with Elliot, he provided sandwiches,  fruit and drinks. Kids had a blast. We ended up with some bad weather but still managed to catch yelow fin Tuna our hotel was able to cook for us and it was delicious

This was our first time fishing in the ocean and it was a great experience.  The captain and crew were wonderful and helpful.  We did catch several fish and even kept one and had it cooked at a local resturant. I would recommend this company..

This was our first time fishing the Pacific Ocean and Captain Elier and Crewman Antonio made it totally awesome.  They were responsive and clear during the booking process so we knew exactly where to be, when to be there, and what to bring along.  The boat “Soleil” proved to be a reliable and capable craft.  We booked 2 days of offshore fishing in late March (3/27-3/28), the dry season, and avoided the rainstorms that other folks had warned us about.  Day 1 was slow with only 1 fish landed all day, a 48”+ Mahi.  On Day 2 the action picked up.  We started the morning with a 60”+ Sailfish, then almost immediately after, landed another Mahi.  We then connected with a Wahoo and giant Needlefish.  Right after lunch we hooked a massive Blue Marlin.  The captain estimated it at over 250 lbs. We fought the fish for about an hour before another boat in the area, the “Top Fly”, decided to come in closer to us for a look. They ran over our line and cut our fish free. This was uniquely disappointing, and I imagine fate has something special in store for the unprofessional captain of that boat.  Pura Vida.

We spent the rest of the afternoon following flocks of seabirds and chasing schools of Tuna around porpoise pods.  This was likewise amazing to see so much action around us.  We planned this to be a bucket-list trip and it certainly lived up to expectations.  We highly recommend fishing with Captain Elier.  (Pleasant surprise of the trip were the delicious burritos Captain Elier brought for the group both days)
