We did a half day morning fishing trip with our family. The day started out pouring rain, but we didn’t mind. It cleared up and the sun came out strong towards the end of the trip. The Captain and 1st mate we both very friendly and made us feel welcome and at ease from the beginning. They provided us with drinks and a watermelon and all the equipment needed. The fishing ended up being really slow but we didn’t mind to much. It was fun just being out in the boat on the ocean. Our son did end up catching one Jack and he thought it was awesome.

We had a slow start to the day. Ran into some tuna,but none were biting. Finished up the day hooking and bringing in two very nice Sailfish. Was a great end to a nice day on the water. I will be posting the pictures soon.

Captain Elier and his mate Anthony were top notch professionals! They were extremely kind from the beginning and we could tell very experienced. We were able to catch onto plenty of Mahi-Mahi’s along with some other species. Anthony’s ability to continually handle all the lines in the water while Elier maneuvered the boat impressed both my wife and I. We had such a fun time with them and caught some great fish! Overall great experience with these guys.

My wife and I had a wonderful off shore fishing experience, the scenery was amazing!  We saw a whale about 5 minutes after I asked Elier if they ever see whales.  Antony worked hard to put us on several Jacks and a hammer head.
Elier’s wife made us the most fantastic burros for lunch, the best I have ever had on a trip! I will use him again!

We booked 2 trips with Elier, one inshore and one off shore.  The first trip, though they struggled catching bait, resulted in us catching 2 mackerels, 3 needlefish and 8 Jack crevalle.  The second trip was to be our offshore trip but after talking with Elier and learning the sailfish were about 37 miles out we decided to do another inshore, which resulted in 5 mackerels, 2 jacks and 1 needlefish.  First mate David quickly prepared an amazing ceviche with our first mackerel right on board!  Delicious!  We greatly appreciated the communication from Elier before each trip.  He reached out several days before our first trip, even before we left the US.  Though their boat is not as large as some other charters they proved that the boat doesn’t get you the fish or make it enjoyable… the captain and crew do! As a female, I was a little uncomfortable peeing onboard in a bucket, but when I had to go they were very respectful and pulled everyone to the back of the boat facing away from me.  As a bonus we got to see a couple sea turtles and a group of dolphins joined our boat… they were so close that we could have reached out and touched them.  We wouldn’t hesitate to book with them again.
