We booked a half days fishing specially looking to catch a Rooster fish. The trip did not disappoint! We met the boat at 7am and by 8.30am a Rooster fish was caught followed by a large trevalley. The boat was very adequate for the job and all preparatory work had been done including live bait. The Captain and his crew were very attentive and helpful. This was much appreciated as I have Parkinsons and not too steady on my feet.usually.

Capitan Duran and crew are a pura tico enterprise, in the best sense.  I caught a 60+ lb sailfish, a 5 foot mahi mahi, and a small mahi mahi.  We caught snappers also.  Upon his suggestion I had postponed the trip one day and it turned out perfect: clouds breaking up the sun, light cool breeze, calm water.  Only one or two other fishing boats.  You may be able to pay for better accommodations, but will you have more fun?

We had the most AMAZING trip! First off the price is excellent. They don’t overcharge. It was 100% worth going. The boat ride was so fun and smooth. On top of the fishing, we saw jumping stingrays, turtles, flying fish, and HUNDREDS of dolphins!!! It was magical! We had a blast finding a school of tuna!! They had an amazing lunch prepared for us and snacks and drinks! They stayed out longer to accommodate us and give us the best day ever! Can’t wait to go with them again one day!

Great experience **hidden content** way beyond our expectations! Guide was great and good vibes the whole time. We caught HUGE fish- Mahi mahi & tuna. Saw 150+ dolphins, sharks, sea turtles. We took our fish to a local restaurant he recommended and it was the BEST FISH we ever had! Thank you sooo much! Pura vida!

La journée a bien commencé avec une dorade et une autre qui a cassée la ligne. Après ça à été plus tranquille et le capitaine nous a proposé d’aller près des côtes pour attraper du poisson coq, malheureusement nous n’avons eu aucune touche. Le capitaine nous a proposé d’aller faire du snorkeling avec les enfants. Le capitaine est très gentil et à fait tout ce qu’il pouvait pour qu’on apprécie au maximum notre journée.
