Today’s trip was absolutely amazing! Bubba Jean gave us the ride of our lives.  Mike and Karen are very professional and knowledgeable about San Diego fishing. We caught all of the fish we were hunting for: Ling Cod, grouper, & vermillion.  Mike knew just where to go and how to get them in the boat. We went hunting for Tuna and ended up in the middle of 15 acres of dolphins, whales, seabirds, a giant sun fish, and tuna rising everywhere.  Thank you so much Mike and Karen for today. Anyone... My wife and I had the best experience with Captain Mike. We were impressed with his knowledge about the area we were fishing. He put us right on the fish. His boat and fishing gear are top notch. The technique his uses generated a personal best California Halibut on my second bait fish! The co-owner Karen made everything effortless, from payment to instructions on where to meet. Captain Mike is an all around great guide.  Not only did my daughter and I catch a lot of fish, Mike provided us with a wealth of knowledge on the San Diego Bay.  He was patient, a great teacher, and a joy to spend the day with.

Captain Mike is amazing. He has high energy and it showed that he really wanted us to have a great time. I will book him and his Bubba Jean sports-fishing boat again in the near future!  Total blast!! We caught 11 fish in a four hour trip!

we had some fun time with captain Mike . we explored the islands. Caught a yellow tail.  when the area start to get crowded, captain mike took the initiative and sail an hour more looking for floating celebs and we got lucky till other boats start to hover around us. what’s funny is you catch a fish a second later all boats will be around you . great trip lots of fun time I will do it again.
