Great crew who went above and beyond for my family and I. My kids are 11 and 13 and reeled them in as well on the fighting chair. We caught tons of Bonita, sail fish, and several barracuda with the biggest being 54”. Great trip and would highly recommend for everyone. Also, we saw small number of reviews and loved the boat prior to booking. Glad we didn’t let that discourage us, as we have zero regrets of using nu jay and the marlin Monroe crew!! We went on an 8 hour trip with Alex and Jordan. I have done many charters, but this was the best by far. They made the whole day fun and entertaining all while catching mahi mahi and a giant black fin tuna. They were very professional and polite. Their experience showed how a real charter should be. Absolutely epic trip with Nuj Kay Fishing Charter! They took me straight to the hotspot in the Gulf—hooked into huge fish within minutes. I was dead tired fighting them, but it was the best kind of tired! Crew was super chill and knew exactly what they were doing. I showed up with no gear and they had everything ready - plus cold drinks, clean bathroom, and top-notch service. Unforgettable experience!

We travel and fish a lot! Have lots of experience with different charters and would rank this trip near the top. Alex is a great boat captain and Manuel is a phenomenal fisherman.  It was a pleasure getting to fish with these two. We caught multiple species; primarily barracuda and a beautiful sail fish! Today we went out with Alex and Angel. They are a great crew and worked very well together. The waves were big and the bites were even bigger! Some of the bites were very explosive!! We were able to get several nice fish into the boat. We unfortunately lost a very large fish after a 15-20min fight. I honestly believe that the crew took loosing the fish harder than we did! I highly recommend this fishing trip if you are looking to book an offshore fishing experience!
