We had an absolutely amazing day out today with Alex and his first mate.  Mahi Mahi , Baracuda, Sailfish (we op-ed to release this guy) and 2 that were just too smart for this occasional fisher to not snap the line.  Amazing prices especially for a little private boat. The boat is not shiny and new but I also didn’t pay an exorbitant amount to be in a shiny new one. Now the docking companies dock looks a little sketch but it held up well to my short plump self. Can’t wait to use these guys again.  Ps please keep in mind its $20 per person dock and license fee at the dock. Still an amazing deal for 6 hours of fun.(minus the 2 feeding the fish breaks I needed to take 🤢🤣) They asked if we wanted our fish cleaned and pointed us to the restaurant that would have cooked for us. we op-ed out.

The experience was great, the captain and the first mate were fantastic and hard-working and they did everything to catch the fish. We had a 4 hour afternoon attempt, including trolling and spot fishing using different lures and methods. The weather was a little sub par, but the captain was up front about it and showed everything about it on the app. I guess we didn’t get as lucky as some but we did score four smaller barracudas and medium sized Jack. The weather wasn’t that great but we were fully informed before we make a decision to go out.
The captain personally fillet our fish and offered to make ceviche.  We decided to use the restaurant at the Admiral marina however that felt as a complete rip off as they charged us $70+ USD for very small amount of food.  But that’s a different story.
The fishing tour was fantastic, right on the money and 100% recommended! The captain even gifted us 2 fancy fishing shirts for me and my father with a ship name and Mexican flag on them.

Five friends charted the Marlin Monroe for a 6 hour trip. Communication was awesome. We requested to specifically target barracuda due to the time of year. Captain Mauro and mate Juan were fantastic. We hooked our first fish just minutes after setting the baits. Shortly into the trip we had a huge barracuda flopping on the deck. One of the giant hooks went completely in Jaun’s forearm, and was completely impaled. We had to force the hook all the way through and get the barb cut to remove the hook. We thought our trip should be over and head to the hospital, but Jaun said no. The captain bandaged him up and set him driving the boat. Being a group of cops and firefighters, we’ve seen a lot of bad stuff. Juan might be the toughest kid I’ve ever met. He toughed it out for 4 more hours and even filleted fish at the end. We ended up with 20 barracuda! I’ve been on a lot of charters and this was top notch. The Marlin Monroe is 32’ and has a broad beam. There was plenty of room, a fighting chair, and great rods and reels. Very comfortable. I’d book this boat and crew again in a heartbeat.

What a blast!! The captain and his mate did most of the work. Hooking lines up and making sure there were fish on the line. Handed over the poles so we could reel in the catch. 5mins with lines in the water we were catching fish. went out for 8hrs and just a short time without any bite. Took us to a different spot and BAM bites again. Within the next hour had so many fish. We caught so many we were giving them away. We had several cut up or used as live bait. The only thing is bring yourself some lunch. they provided drinks even beer. Would definitely book with these guys again.  They even filleted our fish

Captain Alex and his first mate had us on fish immediately. We brought in 6 barracudas in under an hour when some of our boys sea legs ran out so we had to cut it short, regretably!  Even with the shortened trip, it was a phenomenal high energy time on the water doubling and even tripling up on fish. 1,000% would book them again. If you have 2-4 guys, this is the one you want for a very reasonable price. I posted a video of our time fishing on youtube.
