The 6-hour trip with Captain Chris Hoag and my fellow anglers was a wonderful learning experience for fighting big salmon and what it really means to seek this important and prized fish species. The experience of all anglers aboard the Seductress varied, but we were all able to have several chances to get hands-on experience reeling sizeable Coho, Pink and Chinook salmon. I’ll never underestimate the strength of a 23”-inch fish hooked at 45’-feet again. Thank you Captain Hoag for the awesome experience again, and I’ll be back on the water again sometime.

Limited out pretty damn quick —found pink salmon within 30min of getting under way— was able to troll back and fourth through school and keep us on fish— took wife and Captain Chris was patient with her and she was able to catch half our limit — full cooler happy wife — doesn’t get any better

It was overall an amazing experience. We only caught one fish though, it was a coho salmon and I believe the only reason we didn’t catch more fish was because the fish were migrating or almost gone. The captain was very nice and my friends and I had a lot of good conversation with him. Overall, I recommend this trip maybe come at an earlier time for the morning trip if you want to catch more salmon.

I took my father and son out and we had a great day making lifetime memories. Captain Chris was knowledgeable, helpful, and a great overall guide who had us catching our limit in no time. It was a perfect day! Captain Chris and Big King are the way to go if you want a great experience fishing Puget Sound.

An outstanding experience. Chris is a real pro! He put us on the fish and everyone got their limit in a few hours! We met some great people, and came home with a couple of 12 pounders. I highly recommend it!
