Our trip was cut short by 2 hours, even though we paid for a 12 hour trip. Space was limited to one big cooler. Didn’t really feel like a private charter, more generic commercial; I.e. start by following shrimp boat, catch a shark, hit the red snapper holes and catch limit, then back to dock. Captain Roger and his crew were fantastic. For my son’s 18th birthday, I purchased an 8 hour deep sea excursion.  Not only were the captain and crew great coaches for the boys but they made sure their experience was one of the most memorable.  They spent 90 minutes helping them bring in this 700 lb shark and take awesome pictures before they released the shark safely. The Captain was knowledgable and was great with direction. The first Mate was the bomb. He helped all of us as needed and busted his backside to keep our hooks in the water. We caught our limit of red snapper. The boat had air conditioning and a comfortable inner cabin. Highly recommend and will use them again soon.

Capt. Sorenson put us on fish almost immediately! We pulled up to our first spot and the kingfish were hammering our baits. It was constant action until we couldn’t put another fish in the box. We didn’t catch our limit but that was due to our kingfish being so big they filled the box. Water was bit too rough for snapper but we had a fantastic time! 2 hours and we brought home 220 lbs of kingfish, 106lbs once they were filleted.
