We booked a 6 hour trip for our family of six. Captain trolled for a couple of hours with no bites. Came down and threw a different lure in and we hooked into a yellowfin tuna. We let my niece get in the chair first. She fought it for about an hour and finally got it on the boat. We went back to trolling with no bites and nothing else done to catch anything. Then were told that if we wanted the fish cut that we would need to head in before the end of the trip.  We agreed so we could get the meat from the fish. When we got back to the dock we were informed we would only get 1/4 of the meat because we were nice people. They said anything caught over 50LBS is the boats which I have never heard of in my life. I have been offshore over a dozen times and have never been told that. We also talked to a few other boat captains and were told they shouldn’t have done that either. So my advice is don’t catch anything over 50LBS if you decide to fish with Kona Dice.
