We had an amazing time. Mitch called us and let us know that he’d been watching the weather and certain areas may be unaccessible. We appreciate that he was looking out for those conditions. My 9 year old son has been super into fishing lately and I myself have never caught a fish. Mitch was great at explaining to my son how to cast and my son caught a catfish within the first 30 mins!!! He caught 2 other fish. My fiance caught 2 fish as well and I on the other hand still have not caught a fish. I will say I appreciate Mitch, he stuck with us till the end trying to get me a fish. Even had me at the dock while he got the boat out of the water trying to catch something. Still no luck but maybe next time. Mitch also recommended at place about 5 min from the dock that we could take our fresh catch to and have them cook it. He even drove us there!! It was amazing. I would highly recommend hiring Mitch!! We will def do it again!

Captain Mitch was excellent, and I highly recommend him.  He worked with us to accommodate alternative times for our trip working around some nasty thunderstorms which was greatly appreciated.  On our trip, he was friendly, engaging and helpful with all aspects of fishing.  His boat and angling equipment were first rate.  His knowledge of the area and where best to find fish in some challenging, windy conditions made for a success day with both of us catching a variety of fish.  My son is an aspiring angler.  Captain Mitch provided great advice for him in terms of considering an initial boat purchase as well as rods, reels, etc.  I would highly recommend his services.

so first off. very windly and cold day for the area w storms moving through. every boat but “that one luckyone”
had trouble tracking down the honey hole. Even so out captain worked his ass off hunting ultimately we switched up places species of fish and had a good time catching fish.  Captain also set us up with great little restaurant who cooked up tge fish for a very reasonable price.

You won’t go wrong with Capt Mitch. Less than 20 minutes from dock, my sweetheart landed a 20 pound fish. I followed her with an 18 pounder minutes later and it was non-stop hookups for hours. Mitch is a great guy and excellent conversationalist. He seemed to know exactly what was biting and where, so we didn’t waste time chasing mirages. We’ll be chartering this boat next time we’re in New Orleans.

Captain Mitch took my friends and I out on a half day charter in late February. Although the bite was slow at first, Captain Mitch was relentless in his effort to put us on fish, and we ended up with plenty to take home. Not only was the fishing great, but he was a joy to go fishing with too. I’m a beginner to fishing in inshore waters, so Captain Mitch made sure I left with not only plenty of fish but plenty of knowledge to carry on to my next trips. I would 100% recommend him to anyone looking for a charter in the area.
