This is our third trip with Captain Mason for inshore fishing and once again it was an amazing trip. Mason is friendly and patient as we dont fish salt/inshore often . He caught bait for the day before our 7a mtg time and met us 30 mins south on Oak Island where we were staying. We worked for fish the majority of the day on some great looking spots catching 6-8 fish, first trout of the season and some keeper reds. We never stayed on a spot longer than 20 mins if the bite was slow. We actually ran out of bait with 45 mins or so left in our trip so we made a bait run close by netting 20 or so mini-mullet to fish the last spot. It was a spot we’d fished an hour... More

Fishing with Captain Mason once again proved how dialed into to the game he really is. My 7yr. old grandson thinks the world of him Mason always has helpful tips and suggestions for and always puts us on the fish. This trip was Redfish and a grab bag of others. We have been deep sea fishing several times and never caught as much as we did this time. I took my three young boys out and we had a great fishing experience. Captain was very courteous knew all the spots to take us and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a great fishing trip. Don’t hesitate booking with Mason Porter!

My son and I went out with Mason and had a great time. He is very knowledgeable about the intercoastal Waters and got us on some fish right away. I believe my son caught about eight red drum and one flounder.  I caught about five red drums they were all in the 20-27 inch range. I recommend going out with Captain Mason to anyone.
