Captain Mike and Lou did a great job! Besides doing their utmost to find fish, safety was their top priority. Landed 2 large kings the first day, also lost about 5 due to the rough water. (That’s why it’s called fishing and not catching) Day 2 caught 5 kings (1 large, 1 medium and 3 smaller ones). Thanks Captain Mike and Lou, I had a good time and hopefully will be back next year!

This is the best charter in Manistee, MI. Ignore the other recommendations. They put you on the fish and provide perfect guidance to get them in. If you fail, it’s your fault. We were 5 for 5, big fish, well worth the money. Captain Mike and First Mate Louis are really nice guys and care about your experience. The boat is a dream. My first time so i have nothing to compare with, The captain and first mate were friendly the boat was nicely equipped they seemed knowledgeable about where and how to catch fish. First mate Lou was good with helping a novice. My son and three grandsons had a good experience all in all it was a success they caught 1 trout and 3 salmon and said they enjoyed the experience.
