If you’re looking to catch big game fish, this isn’t the boat for you. But if you’re looking to do something with the kids, or you love to fish, but you’re not looking to spend $600 dollars to go fishing for 4 hours, this is the charter for you. My second day on the Sashimi II Charter, and I caught a nice size Surgeon Fish.

First off let me say this, the entire crew was phenomenal! Not only were they highly experienced fishermen, but they were extremely kind, accommodating, respectful and polite. We reserved this boat as a family. We brought our 3 children (ages 9, 4 & 2). Mike and his deck hand were amazing given the ages and circumstances. The swell wasn’t the best but that didn’t stop us from finding fish! Kids really were thankful for the indoors to get out of the elements when they wanted to. Communication was clear and Mike made sure we knew exactly where to go and park to find the boat. Overall such an amazing experience and will definitely book again when we return.

We had a party of 6, three generations onboard with the captain and his crew. I think something to always do on a charter, is trust your captain. We trusted him with our trip, and he put us on some trophy size fish! We caught large Mahi, and landed on large Blue Marlin! We had an active experience, with multiple Marlin hookups! Know what you’re in for. Great for the entire family, ESPECIALLY for over 6 people, 4 hour trip? It’ll take a lot of luck. They’re fishing offshore, it’s a big ocean. The crew had the outriggers and trollers going the entire time. So technically you’ve got 4 hours to run over a school of fish. And the captain is working. Birds, boils, bino’s, etc.. they’re working BUT, if you’ve ever been offshore fishing, you know it could work, or might come back empty. The boat and... More
