We had an awesome trip.  It was our first time on Gatun Lake and one of the best fishing experiences we’ve had anywhere.  We will definitely be returning to Panama because of this trip and won’t consider using anyone other than Gatun Sportfishing.  Gerardo was so much fun, incredibly knowledgeable, and provided an all-around wonderful experience.

Capt put me on fish all day. We had a great time fishing together and telling stories. He really knows the game and how to find and catch fish in Lake Gatun. Wish I had time to fish at least a full day or multiple days while I was in Panama. Well worth the money for the fishing and the experience of catching exotic species from the Panama canal.

My brother, sons and I spent two days with Captain Gerardo fishing in Lake Gatun.  Gerardo was extremely knowledgeable, patient with our “tree casts”, and knew where to go and how to fish to give us the most opportunities to turn our fishing into catching.  Captain made it fun, took very good care us, and returned us safe and sound.  Great trip - highly recommended!

Our first time in Panama and on Gatun Lake and had a blast. Caught some Peacock Bass and the brother in law got him a snook! Great captains, 2 boats, and showed us around the waters!

Amazing experience all around the board. Highly recommend this trip for anyone and their family. All of expectations were met above and beyond what was expected. The captain took care of everything and is a great fisherman himself. He had knowledge of the area and knew exactly where to go.
