This was totally amazing trip, our guide the captain was ama,in he is genuine and cares about his guest he goes above and beyond to make sure he’s creating memorable moments.  We saw monkey Island cruised around in search of snook and caught alot of peacock bass.  We will return. 

From the time you arrive you will be impressed on many levels.  Boat and equipment are top notch and the captain’s knowledge of Lake Gatun is unparalleled.  He is flexible in terms of the type of fishing you would like to do as well as target species.  We chose to target peacock bass and were not disappointed.  Very personable as well - we laughed all day long and caught fish - can’t ask for anything better than that!

Great experience all around.  Nice boat, captain, equipment, scenery and fish.  Without exaggeration, the snook we caught was one of the best tasting fish I’ve ever eaten.  There was enough to have it grilled, fried, and ceviche; all were top notch.

Don’t be shy if you love fishing go with Gerardo Duran to Gamboa!  He is the one and only choice if you are wanting to look at catching Tarpon, Snook, Jack, and Peacock Bass to name a few.  If you are looking to hook a new species on a fly he is experienced in fly fishing and knows where the fish are since he is on the water daily doing his research.  He loves fishing as much as you do!  Can’t say enough about the boat, the guide, and the fishery.  Please do not miss this experience if...
