Having been on many fishing charters, I can say that Gatun Sportfishing provides one of the most impressive and entertaining trips that you will find anywhere.  We have used Gatun twice now, and won’t consider using anyone else when we return for our next adventure.  The attention to detail and customer service is amazing.  The fishing is always excellent and you are guaranteed to have an unforgettable and unique experience.

This is one of the best and enjoyable fishing trips I have ever had.  Capitan Gerardo Duran was amazing and really went above and beyond to make the trip fun.  His boat and equipment are all top of the line and in great condition. Captain Gerardo was extremely accommodating and really interested in helping us to catch fish.  And catch fish we did!  In 6 hrs we caught almost 30 beautiful peacock bass!

Gerado was excellent guide including thar he is fluent in English made this trip easy on communication. He knows his tackle , techniques and local water. Would definetely recommend a tour with Gatun Sprot Fishing charters!!!!

Our trip with Gerardo was awesome! He is pleasant, knowledgable, safety focused and landed us on the fish. He was very patient and helpful when we snagged lines or lost bait. His boats are in great condition and very clean. We also stopped at Monkey Island, which was a bonus. We highly recommend Gerardo and his team!  Romel was our Denver to and from the marina, and he was awesome as well!

He spoke great English, put us right on tons of fish, caught around 10 each over 3 hours. We also saw 2 species of monkeys, came right up to the boat.  Bring raingear and bananas and have a blast!
