Visiting Puerto Rico for the first time. We had great luck using fishingbooker to connect with Captain Pepe and his first mate Manny. Captain Pete and Matty were excellent and fun leaders of this trip. Really enjoyed the explanations of why we were fishing where we were, the kind of bait we used, how fish behave… they are smart, funny and were really committed to us having a great time! Mission Accomplished! We did catch 4 huge mahi while all the other boats in the area reported no catches. Captain Pete cleaned our fish exquisitely too…perfect for the ceviche we are now enjoying. Captain Pepe and Manny were the best! He explained everything we needed to know in great detail, handled the boat excellently, manny was always there rebaiting the lines and keeping everything going smoothly.  We caught a nice size mahi-mahi which Pepe cleaned perfectly (no bones!) and which ended up being an excellent main course that night for 8 people! Captain Pepe did a great job today. We had very big waves and a lot of wind. My nine-year-old son was feeling woozy and Captain Pepe was very accommodating on trying to find somewhere where he felt better or even willing to take him back. Having said that even under tough conditions, we caught mahi, barracuda, and even hooked up on a sailfish! Was a great trip really appreciated Captain Pepe and his first mate Manny.

Six hours of strategic trolling turned into nonstop action: back-to-back tuna and my favorite… double blue marlins!! 🐟⚡ Manny was incredibly knowledgeable—he knew his stuff and taught me so much out on the water. Captain Pepe was a beast behind the wheel, making it smooth sailing the whole trip. Can’t say it enough: these guys are worth every penny!
