Capt Joe runs a clean boat and uses top-line equipment to get you hooked on Maine fish. He takes the extra effort to make sure guests are comfortable and even uses chum to maximize chances. The keeper fish were gutted and we are happy customers, thanks again for a great time.

We had a wonderful experience. We were expecting some dicy weather and he communicated we with prior to make sure we were comfortable. He was very personable with our kids. We cought fish and got to pull up lobster traps. We would definitely recommend Captain Joe.

I would recommend this trip for anyone who likes to fish, and likes to learn. This is much more than a fishing trip. This is a class on fishing, ecological stewardship, and Maine coastal history. This would be a great trip for families.

Highly recommend if you have kids and are in area. Our boys 6 and 9 had a great time seeing seals, catching mackerel, hauling in lobsters etc etc. As reviews say Joe is great with the kids. Many memories made in a 3 hour trip.

We had so much fun, and learned a lot about how the North Atlantic marine ecosystem works. It would have been worth the trip for the fishing OR the education, but to get both was something special. Thanks Captain Joe!
