Common charter program: trip has a set duration, say five hours. But to save fuel, boat is operated at low power. So actual fishing time is reduced. Crew used two trolling rigs going out, to increase “fishing” time.

Thanks for the review but please keep in mind you booked a bottom/TROLLING TRIP. When trolling I was going 8-9 knots which is a very fast troll speed with planers and spoons. All charter boats generally operate between 8-11 knots. If you would like more time fishing book a longer trip next time.
