Captain Taylor Cowieson is a fantastic guide!  I am so glad I chose him for our family fishing trip!  He had us on the fish within the first 15 minutes of our trip!  We were getting bites and fish with almost every cast! We had a blast fishing with him.  We also got to see several dolphins which made my granddaughter super happy, just an added bonus for the kids!  We caught well over 60 fish.  Not all are keepers because of the season, but we got a nice mess of fish to bring back to cook.  I don’t think any of the non-keepers could have been tastier than the Spanish mackerel and the sea trout we got to keep! Captain Taylor’s boat was very nice and well kept!  We all were very comfortable!  Captain Taylor was extremely nice and we enjoyed chatting with him.  He also was excellent with the kids!  He is extremely knowledgeable about the fish and the area!  We will definitely be fishing with him again on our next trip to AMI.  Thanks for a awesome day!

My Daughter and I had a magnificent experience with Taylor. While we hooked a nice Snook on the first cast and ultimately dozens throughout the day, our takeaway was what a nice man he is and a perfect Gentleman.  Other reviewers spoke of how much they enjoyed just spending time with him as we will agree but he took a tremendous interest in educating us on all aspects of the area we fished, the marine life, tackle, boats and the history of the Bay.  I have fished with easily 20 plus Captains and Taylor instantly rose to the top of my list.  Our first conversation was about the safety equipment on board which was tremendously appreciated and there wasn’t more than a few minutes of silence between interesting discussion and laughter for the next 4 hours.

Taylor was great!  On time, we’ll prepared, friendly and professional.  He was clearly very familiar with the local area….what was biting and where to catch them.  Within the first hour we had four Spanish Mackerel and a Bluefish and had released a couple of Jacks.  From there we went looking for new adventures, catching a small Snook, a number of Grouper, including a Black Grouper and a Red Grouper, a few more Mackerel and one small Cobia.  It was to the point where we were disappointed to make a cast and not hook a fish.  Taylor quickly turned our Mackerel into filets back at the dock and recommended a local restaurant to cook them for us for dinner.  All in all the best charter we’ve hired.  If we come back this way we’ll be going straight to Capt. Taylor.

Our trip was awesome. First we went up the Manatee river to catch lady fish , trout and snook, grouper .Catch and release. Captain Taylor put us right on the fish. The 5 us caught over 100 fish. Then captain Taylor took us down stream to the green bridge. We caught 11 good eating fish. Then Captain Taylor took us out in the bay to catch sheep’s head. Also good eating fish. What a great day. Captain Taylor was able to handle 5 adults pulling in fish on right after another. Captain Taylor always had a big smile on his face. He loves watching people catch fish and have a good time. We highly recommend you go fishing with Captain Taylor.

I have been on a lot of fishing charters over the years, Taylor is very personable and put us on a ton of fish.  Most fun that I have had on a charter to date.  Great boat and equipment, overall a great experience.  Taylor will be my go to charter captain in the future.
