We booked a 3/4 day charter for inshore fishing. Speckled Trout, Redfish (Red Drum), Black Drum and Sheepshead. Communication was excellent, we had rods in our hands right off the bat and we were moving to the fish right away. Tom and Tom, were awesome teaching us how to catch these great fighting fish. We were moving to a new area and drifting over the spots the fish were active. We had a blast and caught quite a few. We ended up taking Red drum, speckled trout and spanish mackerel home. We must have caught a few dozen fish. I would recommend these guys for new anglers and seasoned veterans alike. When bad weather threatened us, they suggested but never told us what to do. The attitudes were of fisherman that LOVE this and they wanted us to have the best time possible. We waited until the tide and wind was right and when those changed, not in our benefit they switched up the ways we were fishing to keep us in the catch. Loved it, and will book with them again anytime i am in OBX. Cannot recommend these fella’s enough.

My dad, my brother, and I went out on this 3/4 day trip and had a great time! We caught about 20 fish, including speckled trout, blues, a Spanish mackerel, and a flounder. We only kept enough for a delicious dinner due to size restrictions, but it wasn’t for lack of trying! Tom and Tom were extremely knowledgeable and took us to numerous locations around the sound, staying out even past our allotted time to try and get us a few more fish. Communication was excellent before and during the trip, and we spent a lot of time fishing with beautiful views of the sound and Bodie Island Lighthouse. We’re already looking forward to booking another trip next year!

Fishing was slow for us when we went. Poor weather conditions and unusual wind pattern made the fishing hard. ChasinTyde were persistent on getting us fish. We tried several spots and methods. They got us on to fish, and even stayed out with us another hour since the fish took so long to cooperate. I would recommend ChasinTyde Charters to anyone, and I will be rebooking them in the future!

Captain Tom and his dad, Tom, were terrific!  They were extremely friendly and knowledgeable and showed us a few different techniques in a few different areas to help us land 7 beautiful speckled trout.  My daughters were just as ecstatic with their catches as they were at the dinner table that night!  I would definitely recommend Chasin’ Tyde and will definitely fish with them again.
