If you’ve never fished, or if you have fished all your life, I’d recommend Lucky Penny… the Crew were great fun, made you feel at home immediately and the boat is “yours” to walk around and be comfortable on…. Their knowledge and experience of fishing is incredible and it is was fascinating to listen to stories by the crew and then suddenly the stories stop and there is huge activity because there’s a “fish on”…. The crew walk you through what to do, so if a novice, just follow instructions, relax and have fun! We caught 6-barracudas using live bait (which we also caught) and another big fish I can’t recall the name of (doesn’t taste good though apparently!)… 4- hour trip went super quick, but I’d do it again in no time!
Take rash vests, sun cream, hats, sunglasses… otherwise you’ll bake!

A warm welcome from Danny and Paul on arrival and a really well appointed boat with high quality and well maintained equipment. Heading out for a Marlin was always going to be a tall order and Paul, our deck mate worked his socks off during the trip to ensure we had the best chance…Alas Mr Nosey didn’t turn up in in the spread but the Mahi did!! 5 to the boat on light gear kept spirits high and I would highly recommend the charter to anyone visiting Barbados!

We had an awesome day fishing with Paul & Terrance - easily the best experience with Caribbean island charters we’ve ever had. Lucky Penny is a beautiful charter, the crew and equipment top-notch. And we caught fish (Wahoo, tuna, and barracuda) despite less than ideal conditions - because of Paul’s non-stop work. Can’t thank everyone involved enough for a great day on the water. To other travelers: don’t hesitate to book! Highly recommended!

We could not have asked for a better boat, crew, and tackle for the fishing trip we took on 12/13/2023. Daniel was very easy to communicate with via the FishingBooker app and was happy to address all questions regarding the weather and fishing generally. The boat was one of the cleanest and most well-maintained charter boats I’ve had the pleasure of fishing on. The rods, reels, and tackle generally were top of the line. The weather was nice and while the fishing was a little slow, Daniel and Paul worked tirelessly to make sure we caught some fish. Paul was very knowledgeable about Barbados and my wife and I had a wonderful time talking with him throughout the afternoon. I’ve fished in five different countries and these guys were one of the friendliest groups I’ve fished with. I cannot recommend them enough, thanks again Paul and Daniel!

If you’re looking to go fishing in Barbados, look no further than Lucky Penny! Dan and Paul are great guys who answer all your questions with a smile. We went off shore fishing and ended up catching two Mahi and two Barracuda! Captain Dan warned us that the sea was a little rough that day but we had such a blast regardless. They offer refreshments on the boat, including local beers (which are a necessity on a fishing trip ;) ). Overall it was a great trip and I wish we could go fishing with Dan and Paul every day!

I would only book with them! The next time we come to Barbados we will be returning to the Lucky Penny.
