Fall cobia fishing

Cobia have been immigrating back through the Destin area. For the last few weeks we have been hooking up with a few larger sizes. Cobia is known for being one of the best eat fishing in salt water.

Red snapper season is booking quick

Looks like we are going to have another awesome red snapper season in the Destin area. The season is from the 2 week of June the the end of July. Season time frame is subject to changes by the state of Florida. Bookings are going quickly. Definitely don't wait too long to book before all of the dates are gone. Captain’s James made our first offshore fishing a great experience. The weather was not the best and moon phase was not the best. Captain James was good about tell us what to expect from the boat ride to how the fish would react weather. He was very knowledgeable about the area and experienced boat operator. Your group was great. Mother nature made us work for it on your first outing, but we were able to push through and get into some nice fishing. Hopefully round 2 will have us on a good moon cycle and calmer water, so we can see what kind of a epic day we can have. It was a pleasure to send a good part of a day with you and the boys. Weather was a little chilly, but the Captain knew where to find the action. We caught some larger fish that needed to be released, but gave a great fight and later managed to find enough keepers for a meal, which really made our trip. Also had an awesome encounters with dolphins along the way, definitely icing on the cake. I would definitely charter with Apex again.

Thanks for an awesome review. The bite was a little slow, but we were able to find some action areas. The dolphin did give us a show. I had never seen a dolphin bring a fish to my boat to show off what it had caught. Very exciting and new experience for me. Your group was fantastic.
