Fall cobia fishing

Cobia have been immigrating back through the Destin area. For the last few weeks we have been hooking up with a few larger sizes. Cobia is known for being one of the best eat fishing in salt water.

Red snapper season is booking quick

Looks like we are going to have another awesome red snapper season in the Destin area. The season is from the 2 week of June the the end of July. Season time frame is subject to changes by the state of Florida. Bookings are going quickly. Definitely don't wait too long to book before all of the dates are gone. Had a great time fishing with Captain James! This guy really knows his stuff. He had a nice very boat, great equipment and had us on the fish all day. Unfortunately in February many species are out of season but we knew that going in. I couldn’t use my arm for two days from fighting all the fish. Captain James went out of his way to make us feel comfortable on the trip. We caught a few Spanish Mackerel and some great waves. It got a little choppy towards the end but we James did an awesome job keeping the boat under control and lines in the water at all times. Overall we had a great family day on the water and we would recommend his services. We will definitely be returning customers next year.

Thanks for a great review. The wind did not make for an easy day but we had plan B. Mother nature made us earn every fish, and i hand it to the girls to take everything in stride. I have a ton of respect for you wife to solider through the waves.
