Captain Kenny was the best fishing charter service I’ve ever had my pops and I have had a few in the past and this was my first time taking my 10 year old son. He made him feel very welcome and the patience he had for him was great, Captain Kenny made us feel like we’ve known him for years very welcoming and conversations were great and loved the fishing stories he had you can hear the passion he has for the water. Got to catch a great amount of trout and nice red considering the fishing conditions which of course is always unpredictable. After our trip he cleaned and cut our fish to be ready to throw on the grill for a great lunch. Overall it was the experience of a lifetime for my dad, my son and myself and an unforgettable memory for all of us and definitely looking forward to the next trip with him. My small boys and I surprised my husband with a fishing trip with Captain Kenny, and it was a PERFECT adventure! To say Captain Kenny is accommodating, professional and fun is a gross understatement. He exceeded all expectations! He is a genuine guy, so kind and it’s evident he loves what he does. Not only did we all catch fish (even our 6 year old caught the BIGGEST black drum!), but he cleaned the fish and we ate some of our catch just hours after at a recommended spot. Best of all, our little boys left asking repeatedly when they’ll be able to see Captain Kenny again! We were even fortunate enough to meet some of his family back on the dock and they’re equally as kind! Captain Kenny made this such a memorable birthday present for my husband and weekend for our family! We are forever grateful and are already thinking about the next time we can go.

Kenny was the consummate guide. He listened to our goals and created a trip we could have never done or even thought of on our own. The execution was excellent throughout the trip. It’s one thing to have a guide take you to the fish. It’s a completely different experience when that guide connects with each person on the trip, regardless of their experience. In our case, we had our young family on an offshore fishing adventure that will never be forgotten. I recommend Kenny to anyone looking for a fishing g trip in Port Aransas or Aransas Pass. He won’t let you down!

Captain Kenny was outstanding for our group of six. He gave clear, easy-to-follow instructions that had us fishing like pros in no time. We were on the fish fast, and when things slowed down after an exciting shark catch (a huge hit with the boys!), he encouraged us to stay patient. Sure enough, after a short move—just a few hundred yards—we hit the jackpot and limited out!

My mother and I had an excellent time on the water with Capt Kenny. An important part of fishing is being comfortable with the guide, after all you are on a boat together for 5 hours. Kenny is very friendly, easy to talk to and has an enormous amount of experience guiding. I can easily say he was one of the best guides I’ve ever gone out with.  I will definitely be back for more trips!
