We went out for a half day trip with Captain Lawrence. The morning started off with a bang. The Captain got us on Redfish very quickly. We reeled in several keepers. We booked South Texas Fishing Charters and did an AM trip on 7/7/24.  We caught a ton of redfish including several tanks!  Grilled em up on the half shell the next night and they were delicious.  We had a couple of kiddos in our party who got to catch their first fish and had so much fun.  I knew we must have done well when every angler approached us afterward and saw how many fish we were filleting. We had a great experience, we booked this trip as a gift for our 12 year old and he had a lot of fun. He wanted to fish for his birthday and we are new to fishing. It was an awesome experience for our kids, it was their first time on a boat and really their first time catching big fish.  They enjoyed it and wanted to do it more often.
