Caption Frank put us on a variety of fish. Had a great time!

  My family an I recently took a trip to Alabama for a World Series Baseball tournament. While visiting, we decided to go deep sea fishing. My husband was the only one of us who had been before. Although we all have some fishing experience, never in the ocean. I was very nervous about the expedition but after much research my husband found Fishin Magician.
  Right away the Captain and deckhand made us feel welcome and at ease. They were both laid back and helpful. We began bait fishing and then a nice ride out to our fishing spot (so thankful for calm seas). Bryant taught us to drop our lines, helped rebait, and even how to reel them in. It can be stressful fishing with kids ( 8,11 and 13)!
Even after some broken lines, a “rats nest” and lost bait, Bryant was patient and kind.
  We weren’t quite to our limit and the Captain knew just what to do. He took us to another spot where the fish were plentiful. It was very exciting. We even got to see some dolphins!
  We ended the trip with some trolling and snagged a king fish and even a tuna. We had an awesome trip that we’ll never forget and hope to return soon. Thanks Fishin’Magician!!

Captain Frankie and Bryant were great. My kids and I had a blast fishing with them. We started the day off catching a huge Spanish Mackerel, and then Captain Frankie put us on a couple of spots where we caught numerous vermilion snapper, along with several small trigger fish and red snapper that we had to throw back. I think my daughter probably caught 70% of our keepers. The weather was great but the sea conditions deteriorated as the day went on.  The captain’s knowledge and experience showed as he made several decisions that allowed us have a reasonably easy ride in and out along with a great day of fishing.  His deckhand Bryant kept us entertained and fishing all day. We finished off with some trolling back toward home where we caught two King Mackerel and a few more Spanish Mackerel.  Overall it was a great day and I will be looking to Captain Frankie and the Fishin Magician again the next time we decide to go fishing for the day.

Terrific day on the Gulf aboard the Fishin’ Magician! Captain Frankie didn’t waste any time putting us on fish and quickly moved to a different spot if they weren’t biting. Early in the season yet so he took us out a little deeper where we caught our limit of triggerfish along with vermillion and white snapper. Lot of reds too (catch and release). Bryant was wonderful - good company, kept bait on our hooks, and filleted up our keepers. We’d love to come back sometime when warmer waters bring up the migratory fish - and would definitely book this crew again! Thanks for the memories.
