During our time actually fishing, the action was nearly constant. We estimate we caught over 100 sea trout. They were all small, but very willing. Having dolphins surfacing around the boat was an added bonus, as well as adding excitement to pulling in fish! Fortunately, they never did manage to grab a fish on the line.
Ryan is very knowledgeable about the area in general (he also runs non-fishing bay tours), and fishing in particular. His stories of friends, family, and experiences will keep you well entertained. He has a good network of other captains, and keeps up with current conditions and fish activity. While we didn’t need it, I expect this comes in handy when the fishing is tough.
The boat is well equipped, and is a real hoot to ride in when Ryan opens it up. We were out a ways, and probably had 30 minutes each way to our fishing spot. Plenty of time to enjoy the speed, waves and sun.

This was our second fishing trip with Captain Ryan. He knows exactly where to put you on the fish. From the time we started fishing until the time we left the bites never stopped. We caught our limit in trout. It was an enjoyable, productive, fishing trip! We will definitely be back!

We had a great time. Captain Ryan got us on some fish and we stayed busy catching em all morning. My wife especially loved the dolphins. We went for the fishing and got a bonus dolphin cruise! 😁

Capt Ryan was great and very knowledgeable. He made our two little one’s first fishing outing very memorable! He was great with the kids and kept everyone intrigued. Hope to book again in the future.
