I was very surprised to see this review bc y’all seemed to have such a good time on your trip, laughing and telling stories, all while we caught more than 20 lbs of fish in the sound (including keeper flounder and grey trout- some of the best fish to catch in the sound). I also had a lot of fun fishing with y’all and did not have the impression that you weren’t happy with what we were doing.

You’re correct that wreck fishing in the ocean can be an option on our four hour trips, but this is always dependent on the conditions. Y’all told me you were fine with following my lead on what to try. At the time of your trip there was a strong SE wind, that while still pretty in the sound, makes it very challenging to wreck fish in the ocean. You gave me the impression that y’all were happy with what we were doing , especially when I asked if you wanted to try something different and you said no, you liked what we were doing.

It is always our goal to give folks an enjoyable trip and catch as many fish as we can. I wish you had let me know during your trip that you wanted to try something different. Like I said, I was under the impression that we had a great trip.
