Was a good little trip, had a 5yr old boy onboard and they were very attentive tried different methods of fishing was a good boat good gear all round good time keen to go on a bigger charter next time

Stared with a 70 cm tuna and the fish only got bigger from there. Next run was triple hookup with 70cm, 80cm them 1m. Soon enough we had 7 yellow fins and the biggest was almost 1.3m and took 15 minutes of sweat to bring up. Absolutely awesome. Finished with a 1.2m dolphin fish buck. Massive thanks to captain Fai and Mala for a great day on boat. And thanks to Dean our driver and Fatima for being very organised. When we come back we are doing this again.

Our family fishing trip with Coral Coast Fishing Charters was excellent. The pick up and drop off from/to our accommodation was appreciated. Our captain knew exactly where to go in the open waters. Our deckhand Mala was friendly and a local villager who has lots of experience. We reeled in 19 tuna on our morning charter. Definitely book with this company. Loved every minute of our excursion and would highly recommend this charter to anyone looking for a good time in the open seas of Fiji.

I fished with Coral Coast Charters for two days,  January 28 and January 31.  There were two of us the first day and 4 of us the second day.  The trips were scheduled for 8 hours and included “snacks”.  In reality there were finger sandwiches, fruit, drinks including iced water and various cookies available so it was really a decent lunch.  We wanted to fish for tuna so we trolled all day.  Each day the captain stayed in the fishy area longer that he had too and returned to shore only well after the 8 hours the trip was scheduled for.  The first day we caught a nice mahi mahi and a small yellowfin tuna.  The second day we caught a wahoo, a barracuda and 6 skipjack tuna.  Overall I would rate the trip as excellent.  We were picked up at our resort by the company driver about 45 minutes from the location of the boat and returned there each day after fishing.  We had lots of local flavor for the trip and experienced a part of Figi that not everyone gets to see.  Thanks to captain Fai and deckhand Mal for their work above and beyond what we expected.

We went out this morning with Coral Coast Fishing Charters, with my 14yo son desperate for a decent fish! We hooked a 70kg black marlin….he had a 50 min fight and we landed him! It was an amazing experience. It will be a memory for both of us forever. Thank you Fai, family and the crew.
